Hi there! Welcome to Brown Squared Photography, where I share my passion for capturing the beauty of life. I'm Malissa, a professional photographer based in Brownsburg, Indiana and servicing central Indiana, including Indianapolis, Avon, Fishers, Greenwood, Whitestown, Carmel, Zionsville, McCordsville, Lebannon, and Danville. I specialize in children, families, seniors and events photography. I've been doing this since 2008 and I love it!

I'm also a faithful follower of God, who has blessed me with the gift of sight. Back in 1997, I had a serious eye condition that could have made me blind. But God miraculously healed me and even restored one of my eyes that was out of its socket. That's when I realized how amazing this world is and how much I wanted to preserve its moments through photography. Since then, I've been published in several magazines, newspapers and online platforms, and won some awards at the Indiana State Fair Photography contest.

When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family. I've been married to my awesome husband for 32 years and we have four amazing kids, ages 29, 27, 23 and 21. We love to homeschool, travel, visit our parents and have fun together. I also have an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a Graphic Design Certificate that I use to enhance my photography skills.
