As Your Birth Photographer

As your birth photographer, I arrive when you are in active labor (5-6 centimeters or when you call your midwife). I remain as long as you are in labor and up to 90 minutes postpartum or after baby’s exam.

I do not over document. This means, you will not feel like I am the paparazzi. Rather I photograph with intent. I have been doing this long enough to know how to move around a birth space.

Package 1: $1500

We will meet to learn about one another, on-call from 37 weeks, at least 100 edited digital images, a reel set to music and a mini maternity session.

Package 2: $900

We will meet and learn about one another, NO on call service (If I cannot make it, your money will be refunded), at least a 100 edited images, and a reel set to music.

What is a Fresh 48 session?

A Fresh 48 session takes place in the hospital, birth center, or home and captures professionally the first 48 hours of your newborn's life: Details of the room they were born in, siblings meeting for the first time, the first precious moments with grandparents and family members.

Fresh 48 sessions take place when you call, during the daylight hours and lasts between 60-90 minutes. They will be unposed and use natural or available light and include a mix of black and white and soft color images, 25-30 digital images on CD with a print release and a next day blog post and Facebook sneak peek for you to share with friends and family.

Newborn photography also takes place shortly after birth but rarely within the first day or two. Your First 48 session will happen right after birth when those emotions are still high and everything is brand new. There will be no props, studio lighting or baby posing!

A Fresh 48 session cost is $200. A $100 deposit fee is required to book my time and the $100 balance is due when I arrive at your session.
